Blah day

I haven't done much today. I got up before noon again. Hopefully I can make a habbit out of that. So, I got a shower in, did some dishes, watched some tube, then in a bold, totaly out of character for me move, I turned off the tv. I'm now listening to music, thank the gods. I feel like I never just listen to music anymore, and it makes me sad. I love my music, and I really have been missing it. To think, I forgot just how much I love listening to the Dresden Dolls!
It's also the first day of my period, so I feel like shit. :(
I need a job, badly. I think I'd really love to work at a big bookstore, like Borders or Barnes and Noble, but in reality I'll take whoever hires me.
I love my mom! She is entirly too good to me. I found this coat on sale at Torrid the other day, and I fell in love with it. Well, since I have no job at the moment I of course have no money. So, I called my mom and asked her if she would be able to lend me the money for it (all $63 worth of on sale that it was). I made a point of telling her that if she didn't have the money for it, it would be ok. Truth is that I really did need a new coat, since my old one from last year dosen't fit me anymore, but I didn't want her to feel bad if she didn't have the money.
Well, Mom came through for me. Then, she bought me a DVD set when we stopped at Sam Goody. It's three disks and nine films worth of Zombie Movie awsomeness. The set includes some great ones such as: The Night Of The Living Dead, and The Last Man On Earth (starring Vincent Price *drools*). I can't wait to watch them all!
I need costume ideas!

R.I.P. MSS

Tonight was the very last show for a wonderful local band, named Missle Silo Suite. Having been a fan of theirs for a few years now, I had to go to the show to wish them a fond farewell.
I first saw them back in late 2002, shortly after Robert (the infamous ex) and I got together. They were opening for another local band named Adair (who have since moved their act to California). I've been a fan ever since. I was there for their first cd release party, and it was awsome.
So, now, sadly I bid them a fond farewell...
The show tonight was awsome. They played some of my favorite songs, along with a few that I wasen't as familiar with. Jess came with me becuase Andrew coulden't make it and I really didn't want to go alone. I think she had a pretty good time, except for the two crappy opening bands and the ciggarette smoke. I'm really glad she came with me...
So, tonight was good, but pretty sad. I kind of teared up during a couple of songs, and teared up again when I was telling Andrew about the show.
I'm such a baby...
Oh well...

*tired*

So, I got up at 11am today. It's sleeping in for most people, an early morning for me. I haven't been sleeping well lately, so I've gotten into the bad habbit of not actually falling asleep untill somewhere around five am.
But, Andrew and I had things to do today before he had to run off to class tonight. So, it was an early wakeup for me! First, we had to go to Planned Parenthood cus I needed more birth controll pills. No little Von's and Andrew's running around yet, yay!
Then, we had to go to Zales to get my ring cleaned. We have to let them clean my ring every six month to keep the warrenty on it.
Then, we headed off to the Dollar Tree. They're hiring, so I applied. If I can find a job where I'm working about 20 hours a week, that would be great. We also picked up a few things. I love dollar stores!
After that, we were off to U. City high so that I could meet a few of Andrew's fave teachers. It was pretty fun, and I really liked his teachers.
I'm probably gonna apply at Home Depot next. Beth works there and she said that they're desperate for cashiers right now. Who has casheiring experiance? Von does!

P.S. About that last entry... myspace.com was down that night. Well, I'm a myspace addict, so I was like a crackhead without any crack. It was not pretty.

I saw it!

The weinermobile that is!
Drew and I were driving to Columbia MO to visit my cousin, Sarah. While on I-70 we totaly saw the weinermobile! First thing I did was call Jess to brag, but she didn't answer, so a voicemail was left.
*laughs* The weinermobile, the ultimate in tiny penis car's.
Oh, we were also run off the highway by a semi, but that's a story for another day. Don't worry, we're ok, and so is the car. The sholder of the road was big enough for us to pull over onto.
But, Columbia was fun!
So, yay!

Damnit!

I never even had a shot...
The job at Wash U. has been filled, and I never even got an interview. Apparently the head of the department only interviewed two people... back in July.
There goes all the time I wasted waiting for a call. I could have been out looking for something else.
FUCK!
